Harrisburg Police Launch Fundraiser Raising For Family Of 4-Year-Old Struck Dead

The Community Relations Director for the Harrisburg Police has brought the city together, rallying to raise funds for the family of 4-year-old Noraa Wilson who died after she was hit by a car, according to GoFundMe.

Noraa was struck on her way home from D&L convenience store with her 9-year-old brother and 8-year-old sister at the intersection on Herr and North 15th streets on Monday around 5 p.m. as Daily Voice previously reported.

Blake Lynch of the Harrisburg Police launched a GoFundMe campaign for the family of Wilson, whose brother with injured in the crash.

Noraa's older brother and sister are recovering from there physical injuries and also need grief counseling to recover from the mental aspect of this tragedy, according to the GoFundMe campaign page.

The community rallied together and in less than 48 hours has raised over $12,500.

The family thanks the entire community for rallying to surpass the goal of $7,500. They raised enough to cover the funeral and support services for the family as well.

They ask to continue to be kept in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Noraa is survived by her mother, father, and was the youngest of six children.
